Tell me about it.

「Tell me about it.」は、相手の話に強く共感するときに使うイディオムです。

「わかるわかる」「それそれ」「まさにそれ」「痛いほどわかるよ」というニュアンスで、相手の不満・経験・気持ちを共有していることを表します。

日常会話・不満編

1.  A: This rain is never going to stop.
B: Tell me about it. I’ve been stuck inside for three days.
A: この雨、全然止まないね。
B: ほんとそれ。3日間家から出られてないよ。

2.  A: My boss is driving me crazy.
B: Tell me about it. Mine keeps giving me last-minute tasks.
A: 上司がマジで頭に来る。
B: わかるよ。うちの上司も直前に仕事振ってくるんだよね。

3.  A: I hate Monday mornings.
B: Tell me about it. I can barely get out of bed.
A: 月曜の朝って嫌い。
B: ほんとそれ。ベッドから起きるのもつらいよ。

A: 毎日家事するの疲れた。
