複合関係副詞１

複合関係副詞（whenever / wherever / however）を使った副詞節です。

いずれも「副詞節」として機能し、

•  「no matter + 関係副詞」に書き換え可能

•  「譲歩の may」を入れても自然

という特徴を持っています。

1. whenever（〜するときはいつでも／いつ〜しても）

1.  Whenever you call me, I’ll answer right away.
　（あなたがいつ電話してくれても、すぐ出ます）
　→ No matter when you call me, …
　→ Whenever you may call me, …

2.  Whenever she feels lonely, she calls her mother.
　（彼女は寂しいと思うときはいつでも母親に電話する）

3.  Whenever it rains, the traffic gets terrible.
　（雨が降るときはいつでも渋滞がひどくなる）

4.  Whenever you need help, just let me know.
　（助けが必要なときはいつでも教えて）

5.  Whenever I see that movie, I cry.
　（あの映画を見るときはいつでも泣いてしまう）

2. wherever（どこへ〜しても／どこで〜しても）

　（あなたがどこへ行っても、ついていきます）
