Continual (頻繁だが途切れがある)

1. The continual interruptions during the meeting made it hard to focus.

会議中のひっきりなしの割り込みで集中するのが難しかった。  

   (割り込みが頻繁に起こるが、間に途切れがある)

2. She received continual complaints from customers about the new product.

彼女は新製品について顧客から絶え間ない不満を受けた。  

   (不満が頻繁に来るが、間隔がある)

3. His continual tardiness annoyed his colleagues.

彼のたびたびの遅刻は同僚をイライラさせた。  

   (遅刻が繰り返し起こるが、毎回ではない)

4. The team faced continual challenges while developing the software.

チームはソフトウェア開発中にたびたびの課題に直面した。  

   (課題が頻繁に発生するが、間歇的)

5. The continual rain showers disrupted our outdoor plans.

降り続く小雨が私たちの屋外での計画を台無しにした。

   (雨が降ったり止んだりする)

6. He made continual efforts to improve his skills.

彼はスキルを向上させるためにたびたび努力した。  

   (努力が繰り返されるが、継続的ではない)

7. The continual barking of the dog kept the neighbors awake.

犬のひっきりなしの吠え声で近所の人々は眠れなかった。  

   (吠えるが、間に休止がある)

Continuous (途切れなく続く)

1. The continuous hum of the air conditioner was soothing.

エアコンの絶え間ないブーンという音は心地よかった。  

   (音が途切れなく続く)

2. The factory operates on a continuous production line.

 その工場は連続生産ラインで稼働している。  

   (生産が止まらずに続く)

3. She spoke in a continuous stream, barely pausing for breath.

彼女はほとんど息をつかずに連続して話し続けた。  

   (話すのが途切れなく続く)

4. The continuous rainfall caused flooding in the area.

絶え間ない雨でその地域は洪水に見舞われた。  

   (雨が止まずに降り続ける)

5. His continuous focus on the task led to its early completion.

彼のタスクへの途切れのない集中が早期完了につながった。  

   (集中が途切れず続く)

6. The movie was shown in a continuous loop at the festival.

その映画はフェスティバルで連続ループで上映された。  

   (上映が途切れなく繰り返される)

7. The continuous flow of traffic made crossing the street difficult.

絶え間ない交通の流れで道を渡るのが難しかった。  

   (車の流れが止まらない)

【補足】

Continual

繰り返し起こるが途切れがあるもの（例：「たびたびの割り込み」＝何度も割り込まれるが、間に隙間がある）。

Continuous

途切れずに続く状態（例：「絶え間ない流れ」＝止まらずに流れ続ける）。
